Delete Your Account
You can delete your Skipper Cricket account at any time. Deleting your account will permanently remove your personal data from our servers.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account profile (phone number, name, photo)
- Your YouTube OAuth tokens (if connected)
- Your association with teams and tournaments
- Your scoring session history
What Gets Retained
- Match data: Completed match scorecards are retained in anonymized form as historical records. Your personal identity is disassociated from the data.
- Tournament records: Completed tournament results are retained as public records with your personal identity removed.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: In the App
- Open the Skipper Cricket app
- Go to Profile (bottom navigation)
- Tap Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

Include the phone number associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- If you are the active scorer for a live match, please complete or hand off the match before deleting your account.
- If you have a connected YouTube account, we recommend disconnecting it in the app settings first, or revoking access via Google Account Permissions.
- Data deletion is processed within 30 days of the request. During this period, your account will be deactivated.
