Leveret Technologies Private Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") operates the Skipper Cricket mobile application and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: Phone number, display name, and profile photo.
• Match data: Scores, deliveries, player names, team names, and match settings you create or participate in.
• Tournament data: Tournament names, team registrations, group configurations, and results.
• Ground/location data: Ground names and locations you add for matches (via Google Places search).

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• Usage data: App interactions, feature usage, crash reports, and performance data.
• Sync data: Timestamps and version numbers for data synchronization between your device and our servers.

1.3 Information from Third-Party Services

• YouTube API Services: If you use the live streaming feature, we access your YouTube account to create and manage live broadcasts on your behalf. We store an encrypted OAuth token to maintain your YouTube connection. We do not access your YouTube viewing history, subscriptions, or other YouTube data.
• Google Places API: When you search for ground locations, search queries are sent to Google Places. We store only the selected location name and coordinates.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service, including scoring, live sharing, and streaming features.
• To sync your match data across devices and share live scores with spectators.
• To manage your account and provide customer support.
• To send OTP codes for authentication via SMS.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• To improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Live match sharing: When you score a match, the scorecard data (player names, scores, match details) is shared in real-time with anyone who views the match via the app or web.
• YouTube Live: When you start a live stream, your match scoreboard is broadcast publicly on YouTube via your connected YouTube account.
• Service providers: We use third-party services for SMS delivery (Twilio), error tracking (Sentry), and cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

4. YouTube API Services

When you connect your YouTube account to Skipper Cricket:

• We request permission to create and manage live broadcasts on your YouTube channel.
• We store an encrypted OAuth refresh token on our servers to maintain the connection.
• We do not access, store, or process any other YouTube data (videos, playlists, comments, subscriptions, viewing history).
• You can revoke Skipper Cricket's access to your YouTube account at any time via Google Account Permissions.
• Upon revocation or account deletion, we delete your stored YouTube OAuth tokens within 30 days.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region.
• Match data is stored locally on your device and synced to our servers for backup and sharing.
• We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for sensitive data (OAuth tokens, authentication credentials).
• We implement access controls, security monitoring, and regular security reviews to protect your data.

6. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
• Match data: Retained while your account is active. Historical match data may be retained in anonymized form for statistical purposes.
• YouTube tokens: Deleted within 30 days of disconnecting YouTube or deleting your account.
• SMS/OTP data: OTP codes expire after 5 minutes and are deleted automatically.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Update your profile information directly in the app.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data. See our Account Deletion page.
• Revoke YouTube access: Disconnect your YouTube account via the app settings or Google Account Permissions.
• Data portability: Request your match data in a portable format.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
