RCB IPL 2026 Tickets: Where to Buy, Prices, and Complete Booking Guide
Rajat Patidar's RCB are three matches into the defence of their title and already sitting third on the points table. The Chinnaswamy has been rocking. If you have been waiting to get in, here is everything we know about tickets for the remaining home matches.
The Big Picture: RCB's Home Venues in IPL 2026
RCB play their home matches across two venues this season:
- M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru – the main home ground
- Nava Raipur Cricket Stadium, Nava Raipur – two matches later in the season
Chinnaswamy is operating at a reduced capacity of 35,000 (down from 40,000) after the tragic crowd crush in June 2025 during RCB's title celebration. The Karnataka State Cricket Association and the state government worked through multiple safety requirements, and the BCCI cleared the stadium in early March. Enhanced crowd management measures are in place.

The remaining Chinnaswamy matches are April 18 vs DC and April 24 vs GT. If you want to watch RCB at home, those are your last two chances in Bengaluru before the team moves to Raipur for the final two home games. After the way the CSK and LSG matches went, expect demand to be very high.
Where to Buy RCB Tickets
This is the single most important thing in this guide, and it changed from what we originally wrote in March: RCB tickets are sold exclusively through the official RCB website and app. Not BookMyShow. Not Paytm Insider. Not District. Only RCB's own channels.
Official RCB Shop
- Website: shop.royalchallengers.com
- App: The RCB app on iOS and Android
- Limit: 4 tickets per user account, to prevent scalping
- Tip: Create your account and save payment details in advance. Sale windows are not announced far ahead and tickets go fast.
That is it. There is no other official source for Chinnaswamy matches. If you see RCB home tickets on any other platform, you are buying from a reseller and taking a risk. The franchise has been clear about this.
Raipur Matches
Ticketing details for the two Raipur matches (vs MI on May 10 and vs KKR on May 13) have not been announced yet. We expect them to be available through the RCB website as well, but it is possible that a separate platform handles tickets at Nava Raipur. We will update this when it is confirmed.
Bonus: Free Metro Travel
RCB ticket holders get free metro rides on match days in Bengaluru. This is a nice touch and it helps with the traffic situation around Chinnaswamy, which anyone who has been there knows is a nightmare on match nights.
Ticket Prices: What to Expect
RCB have introduced dynamic pricing for IPL 2026. This means the base price of a ticket can go up depending on the match, the opponent, and how much demand there is at the time you buy. Here is the confirmed range:
| Category | Price Range |
|---|---|
| General entry | ₹3,750 onwards |
| Mid-tier stands | ₹4,875 onwards |
| Platinum lounge | ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 |
| Premium hospitality | Up to ₹65,800 |
To put these numbers in context: the base price of ₹3,750 can climb to ₹4,875 or higher for a big match. The CSK game on April 5 was one of the most expensive. If you are flexible on which match you attend, the less hyped fixtures (like the GT game on April 24) will probably be cheaper.
These are Bengaluru prices. Raipur pricing has not been published, but based on past IPL matches at the venue, expect lower numbers.
How to Maximise Your Chances of Getting Tickets
With a capacity of 35,000 and a 4-ticket-per-person limit, the math is not in your favour. Here is what helps.
Before Tickets Go on Sale
- Create your account now on the RCB website and app. Complete your profile, save payment details, verify your phone number. Do not leave this for sale day.
- Follow RCB on social media (Instagram, X/Twitter). Ticket sale announcements come through their official channels, sometimes with very little notice.
- Enable notifications on the RCB app.
- Pick your match in advance. Know which game you want. Have a backup. When tickets drop, there is no time to think.
When Tickets Drop
- Be online 5 minutes early. Popular RCB matches sell out in under 10 minutes. Sometimes faster.
- Use the app. It tends to handle the load better than the website during peak traffic.
- Have payment ready. UPI or saved cards. Do not fumble with OTPs when thousands of people are in the same queue.
- Try multiple devices. Have a friend or family member try on their account at the same time. Remember, 4 tickets per account.
If You Miss Out
- Keep checking the RCB website. Sometimes additional batches of tickets are released closer to the match.
- Avoid unofficial resellers and scalpers. You risk fake tickets and inflated prices. The 4-ticket limit exists for a reason.
- Consider the Raipur matches. Lower demand, probably cheaper, and still RCB at home. The Nava Raipur stadium holds around 65,000 so availability should be better.
Safety at Chinnaswamy This Season
After the events of June 2025, the KSCA and Bengaluru Police have put enhanced safety measures in place for this season:
- Reduced capacity of 35,000 (down from 40,000)
- Improved crowd management and exit protocols
- Enhanced security at entry and exit gates
- Coordination between KSCA, Karnataka Police, and the BCCI
Arrive early, follow the entry instructions on your ticket, and be patient with the security process. It is there for a reason.
How the Season is Going
As of April 15, RCB sit third on the points table with 3 wins from 4 matches and a net run rate of +1.148. Some highlights so far:
- Match 1 vs SRH (28 Mar): Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 69 off 38 balls to chase down 201. A perfect start to the title defence.
- Match 11 vs CSK (5 Apr): Tim David smashed 70 not out off just 25 balls. RCB posted 250/3, the highest team total of the tournament so far. Won by 43 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar also picked up his 200th IPL wicket in this game.
- Match 16 vs RR (10 Apr): The only loss, by 6 wickets in Guwahati.
- Match 20 vs MI (12 Apr): Won by 18 runs at the Wankhede. Phil Salt was Player of the Match.
The defending champions look good. If they keep this up, the remaining Chinnaswamy matches are going to be electric.
