RCB IPL 2026 Tickets: Where to Buy, Prices, and Complete Booking Guide
If you have been waiting to watch Rajat Patidar lead RCB out at the Chinnaswamy this season, you are not alone. The defending champions are back at their home ground after everything that happened last year, and demand for tickets is going to be enormous.
We have done the research so you do not have to. Here is everything we know about where to buy RCB IPL 2026 tickets, what they cost, and how to give yourself the best chance of getting in.
The Big Picture: RCB's Home Venues in IPL 2026
RCB will play seven home matches this season, split across two venues:
- M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru — 5 matches
- Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur — 2 matches
The split exists because of a prior commitment to Raipur. But the important news is that Chinnaswamy is back. After the tragic crowd crush in June 2025 during RCB's title celebration, which killed 11 people, the stadium was initially stripped of hosting rights. The Karnataka State Cricket Association and the state government worked through multiple safety requirements, and the BCCI cleared the stadium in early March 2026. It will operate at a reduced capacity of 35,000 (down from 40,000) with enhanced crowd management measures.
RCB IPL 2026 Match Schedule
Based on the projected fixtures (the BCCI is releasing the schedule in two phases), here is RCB's expected lineup. Home matches are highlighted:
| # | Date | Opponent | Venue |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 28 Mar | vs CSK | Chinnaswamy, Bengaluru |
| 2 | 31 Mar | vs RR | Jaipur |
| 3 | 4 Apr | vs SRH | Chinnaswamy, Bengaluru |
| 4 | 7 Apr | vs DC | Delhi |
| 5 | 11 Apr | vs GT | Ahmedabad |
| 6 | 15 Apr | vs LSG | Chinnaswamy, Bengaluru |
| 7 | 19 Apr | vs KKR | Kolkata |
| 8 | 21 Apr | vs GT | Chinnaswamy, Bengaluru |
| 9 | 23 Apr | vs MI | Mumbai |
| 10 | 26 Apr | vs RR | Chinnaswamy, Bengaluru |
| 11 | 30 Apr | vs LSG | Lucknow |
| 12 | 3 May | vs PBKS | Raipur |
| 13 | 7 May | vs DC | Raipur |
| 14 | 10 May | vs SRH | Hyderabad |
Green rows = Chinnaswamy home matches. Gold rows = Raipur home matches. Schedule is projected and may change.
The season opener on March 28 against CSK is the one everyone wants. RCB as defending champions hosting CSK in the very first match of the tournament. If you are going to target one game, that is the one. But expect it to sell out within minutes.
Where to Buy RCB Tickets
Based on past seasons and current information, these are the platforms where RCB IPL 2026 tickets are expected to be available:
1. BookMyShow
BookMyShow has been the primary ticketing partner for IPL matches at Chinnaswamy Stadium in recent years. This is where most fans will buy tickets online. Expect tickets to go live here first for Bengaluru matches.
- Website: bookmyshow.com
- App: Available on iOS and Android
- Tip: Create an account and save your payment details in advance. When tickets drop, the window is extremely short.
2. Paytm Insider
Paytm Insider is another official ticketing platform for IPL matches. Some venues and teams use Insider instead of (or in addition to) BookMyShow.
- Website: insider.in
- App: Available on iOS and Android
3. Official RCB Website and App
RCB sometimes offers exclusive early access or member presales through their own channels. It is worth checking royalchallengers.com regularly.
4. Stadium Box Office
Offline ticket sales at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium are typically available at Gates 18 and 19 a few days before each match. Availability is limited and queues can be very long, but it is an option if online tickets sell out instantly.
5. Official IPL Website
The official IPL website at iplt20.com sometimes links directly to ticketing for all matches. Worth bookmarking.
Ticket Prices: What to Expect
Exact prices for IPL 2026 have not been officially announced at the time of writing. Based on past seasons, here is what to expect:
- General stands (A, B, C, North Stand, etc.) typically start around ₹4,000 – ₹6,000 for regular matches. High-demand games cost more.
- Fan Terrace and premium view stands are usually in the ₹8,000 – ₹15,000 range.
- Pavilion Terrace and corporate hospitality can go from ₹15,000 to ₹50,000+ depending on the match and package.
Important: Dynamic pricing applies. High-demand matches (RCB vs CSK, RCB vs MI, any playoff game) will be significantly more expensive than a mid-season league match. The opener on March 28 will likely command the highest prices. Prices also tend to increase every season, so do not rely on numbers from two or three years ago.
Raipur ticket prices have not been published yet, but based on past IPL matches at the venue, expect them to be somewhat lower than Bengaluru prices.
How to Maximise Your Chances of Getting Tickets
RCB matches at Chinnaswamy sell out fast. With the reduced capacity of 35,000 this season, they will sell out even faster. Here is what we recommend:
Before Tickets Go on Sale
- Create accounts now on BookMyShow, Paytm Insider, and the RCB app. Complete your profile, save your payment details, and verify your phone number.
- Follow RCB on social media (Instagram, X/Twitter). Ticket sale announcements almost always come through their official channels first.
- Enable notifications on BookMyShow and the RCB app for IPL 2026 events.
- Decide your matches in advance. Know which games you want. Have a backup choice. When tickets drop, there is no time to browse.
When Tickets Drop
- Be online 5 minutes early. Ticket sales for popular IPL matches often sell out in under 10 minutes.
- Use the app, not the website. Mobile apps tend to handle the load better during high-traffic sales.
- Have payment ready. UPI or saved cards. Do not fumble with OTPs when thousands of people are in the same queue.
- Try multiple devices. Have a friend or family member try simultaneously on their phone.
If You Miss Out
- Check the stadium box office. Gates 18 and 19 at Chinnaswamy sometimes have limited offline tickets a few days before the match.
- Watch for resale on official platforms. BookMyShow sometimes enables ticket resale closer to the match date.
- Avoid unofficial resellers and scalpers. You risk fake tickets and significantly inflated prices. Stick to the official channels listed above.
Raipur Matches: What We Know
RCB's two Raipur matches (vs PBKS on May 3 and vs DC on May 7) will be held at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The stadium has a capacity of around 65,000.
Ticketing details for Raipur have not been announced yet. Based on past IPL matches at this venue, tickets are expected to be available through BookMyShow or a state cricket association portal. We will update this guide when more details are released.
Safety at Chinnaswamy This Season
Given the events of June 2025, the KSCA and Bengaluru Police have implemented enhanced safety measures for IPL 2026:
- Reduced capacity of 35,000 (down from 40,000)
- Improved crowd management and exit protocols
- Enhanced security at entry and exit gates
- Coordination between KSCA, Karnataka Police, and the BCCI
Arrive early, follow the entry instructions on your ticket, and be patient with the security process. It is there for a reason.
